Size 3

Holy cow! Levi moved up to size 3 diapers today. What a big boy.

Jesus loves me

Asher is so cute when he sings Jesus loves me. His sweet little voice is just precious. He already sings with such passion. Even if the words aren't quite right. LOVE IT.

Lowebot

Today Isaac and Daddy went to Lowe's to make a Lowebot. It was a special time for them to spend time just the two of them. Isaac was excited because he got to use a hammer.

Isaac was really into reading the instructions.

When he got home we let him paint his car (it turns into a robot, thus Lowebot.)

Seven months (almost)

Levi will be seven months old in 2 days!

Where did the time go?

 

He is getting so big and doing so much.

He is sitting up now. He took a little longer than his brothers to do that. 

(Mommy is ok with that)

He is getting up on all fours and rocking . 

I just know any day now he will be crawling everywhere.

He is eating...A LOT. 

His fave food is yogurt, he does not like squash...at all.

 

He is so happy and so fun. 

I think he is teething because the drool is really coming. 

Plus, he has not been sleeping well at night.

I'm so glad that God blessed us with this little man. 

I love his smile and all the joy he brings our family.

It's about time

We finally got Asher's haircut today. With his hair short I feel like he looks so much like my Grandpa McCartney. Good thing he is named after him. :)

First word

Today I had Levi in our room and Dan came in and Levi looked at him and made a noise that sounded just like Daddy. A fluke you say. Maybe so, but then Dan left the room and came back and Levi looked at him and said clearly DADA! This has happened like 4 times. So, I'm going to say it was his first word. I wish it was mama, but it doesn't work that way. :)

getting big

Levi is getting big. He is putting everything in his mouth now which is getting interesting. I love watching him grow.

Valentine's Day ornaments

I know I am posting this a little late, but we made valentine ornaments last week. The boys enjoyed playing with the dough and mixing and cutting and all the fun. It made a little mess, but it was a lot of fun.

Let's talk about Jesus

So, last night we were on our way to house church. We were going to a friend's house who didn't have kids so each of the boys picked a toy to take. Isaac took his laptop. During the trip Isaac started asking questions

Isaac- Dad, are we going to house church tonight.
Dan- Yes, Isaac.
Isaac- Are we going to talk about Jesus?
Dan-We can talk about Jesus with you tonight, yes.
Isaac- Oh, no, I forgot my Bible! Oh, that's ok (opens toy laptop) I'll just go to talkaboutJesus.com and then we can talk about Jesus. Ok, Dad.

No, we have never said anything about talkaboutJesus.com. Where does he get this stuff?

Snowed in

We have had lots of snow this week. Yesterday we decided to have a snow party. We made snowflakes for decoration. Had yummy hot chocolate. And made bagel pizzas (thus the messy faces). There is a shot out our back door. That is a a covered porch! We had a lot of fun inside for the day though.

Today Asher was sitting at the table and got very serious.

Asher: Mom, it's not my birthday, it's Jesus birthday."

Only took him a month and a half to wrap his mind around that concept.

Long time

Ok, so I haven't posted in awhile due to issues with the internet. We are attempting to switch to AT&T Uverse and it has been a terrible experience. Combine that with wicked PMS and it makes for a really awful week. So much for my diet...I need chocolate in a crisis situation like this. :) Oh, yeah, this is supposed to be about the kids. The kids are great, they miss TV too. Here are a few new pictures of my adorable little ones just to keep up with what is going on.

Levi attempted the johnny jump up.
Asher has started potty training.
Levi turned 6 months! Time flies.
Isaac has started soccer he has a game every week.
The big boys got their first G.I. Joes. They love them.


This month is going to be a big one for us. Febuary is full of birthdays for us including Isaac's he will be 4. Can't believe how time flies.
